Only You Put Yourself On The Sideline

With the New Year approaching, it’s easy to slack off these next two weeks and give it 50% of what you’ve got… or less. BUT we really want you to set yourself up to start the New Year off right! When we slack off, the comeback is weak when it could have been solid… you can’t even call it a “comeback” anymore.

If you’re okay being the weakest link… you may as well get comfortable in your current seat—you’ll be there a while. News flash: no one wants to be described as weak!

So let’s ramp up for the New Year! We want to feel good about starting off fit, strong, and being familiar with the route for the year—as best as we can be.

How do we finish strong to start strong?

  1. Remember your goals: It’s easy to forget the goals you set for yourself early on in 2017. They may seem like a distant memory, but try your best to regain your ground and finish putting some final dents in your dreams by the end of the year.
  2. Have new goals in mind: You never want to complete a set of goals or dreams and then have none to follow or pursue next. It’s difficult to constantly be planning the next big thing in your life, but let those around you be motivation and give pointers on what you should be pursuing next.
  3. Have an encouraging team pursuing the same future in 2018: Even if you play better as an individual, you still need a strong team backing your performance and walking alongside you. Never lose sight of those who know where you have come from and where you are going.

Don’t sit yourself on the sidelines for the remainder of the year. Ask Coach if you can go in and give your hardest when you run on the field.
