Business Development Executive

WorkCompass is hiring its first UK Business Development Executive. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter to become one of the founding members of the UK team.

Main responsibilities:​

Own, manage, and drive the full sales cycle from first contact with qualified leads through contract negotiation/close. This includes:

  • Conducting discovery calls with prospects generated by marketing via email campaigns, ebook downloads, webinars and website site enquiries.
  • Delivering online product demonstrations and online presentations.
  • Creating quotations.
  • Negotiating prices.
  • Closing deals.
  • Using various CRM, screencasting, web conferencing and emails tools.
  • Working closely with marketing to optimise lead generation campaigns.

Candidate Specification: ​

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • 3 years SaaS sales experience.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly master new software tools.
  • Must be at least diploma level qualified, degree level an advantage.
  • Formal sales training.
  • Experience closing deals of €10,000 ARR or more.
  • Proven track record in the Human Resources space, preferably selling ‘SaaS’ solutions.
  • Good planning and organisation skills.

The salary and benefits are negotiable and competitive. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK and Ireland (we unfortunately cannot sponsor visas).
